The Law Dictionary is now available for free online, featuring Blacks Law Dictionary, the trusted legal dictionary. This term originally meant the state of having forfeited lands and goods to the crown. An example of a serious crime that can be punished by one or more years in prison. Black died in 1927, and future editions were titled Blacks Law Dictionary. The sixth and earlier editions of the book are now available online.
